Akitas, Ancestors and Allergies

I was doing a session earlier this year on my akita dog Hana. I was releasing a trapped inherited emotion of abandonment-related to a shellfish allergy-and got a little visionary glimpse of what had caused the trapped emotion and allergy. I saw a dog owner in a winter coat lying by a body of water. There was snow. There was lifelessness. The owner had passed away. Had he starved to death? Was he frozen? I don’t know. I only know the body of water, the smell of fish, and a dog who now had to fend for itself grieving the loss of its beloved owner. And that trapped emotion was then handed down to the generations. Yes, energy work is not just for humans! Animals need our help as well!

One of the things that stood out to me the most was that a shellfish allergy had emerged from this experience. It made me wonder how many allergies are related to the traumatic events of our ancestors. I now believe that many of them are. I’ve seen this happen several times this year. A perfume allergy was related to the sexual abuse of an ancestor; a wheat allergy was related to an ancestor’s loss of resources during an economic downfall. What happened to them matters to us whether we realize it or not.
